Who is Elizabeth Harlow, anyway?

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of South Carolina with a double major in Film & Media Studies and English. While there, I edited the quarterly arts and culture magazine, leading a team of designers, writers, stylists, and photographers.

Having attended most of college through the COVID-19 pandemic, I traveled to Europe post-graduation to study the art and design of several cities, in lieu of studying abroad. I have experience in set decoration, costume styling, and general production assistant work.

My stylistic point of view for each project is deeply character-driven, allowing the person on the page to tell me what would color their world. To make each scene a living, breathing thing, I think it’s important to consider what existed before the script’s setting, like an object’s own a sense of memory. I strive to create intricate sets and costumes which reflect the unique world in which they exist, before a word has even been spoken.
